Product Description
JOINT SEALING TAPE-2000 is an elasto- meric, tear resistant, breathable waterproof- ing tape which prevents the passage of moisture and water through joints and cracks.
JOINT SEALING TAPE-2000 is bonded to the substrate with AQUAFIN-2K/M flexible cementitious waterproofing.
Typical Applications
- Cracks and construction joints
- Joints between new and old concrete
- Joints under ceramic tiles
- Applied to all substrates that can be treated with cementitious waterproofing or tile mortars

Installation
Apply 1st coat of AQUAFIN-2K/M, extending minimum 3/4″ (20 mm) beyond either side of tape
Embed JOINT SEALING TAPE-2000 uniformly, leaving no wrinkles, into 1st coat AQUAFIN-2K/M, using a steel trowel or similar.
Cover JOINT SEALING TAPE-2000 with 2nd coat AQUAFIN-2K/M (same or next day) and smooth the surface with a damp brush
Connecting Tapes:
- After installing 1st tape, overlap 2nd tape, minimum 4″ (100 mm)
- Cover 2nd tape with AQUAFIN-2K/M and follow procedure, steps 1. to 3.
Note: Use JOINT SEALING TAPE-2000-S (600% elongation) for expansion joints and other areas subject to larger movement.
